What is the difference between a single staff and a grand staff?
A single staff is one set of five lines, used for a single melodic instrument or a vocal line. A grand staff joins a treble and a bass staff with a brace, which is the standard for piano because it covers both hands. Choose the one your music needs.
Can I add a clef to each staff?
Yes. Turn the clef on to print a treble clef on single staves, or a treble and bass clef on the grand staff. Leave it off if you prefer blank lines to add the clef and key by hand, which keeps the sheet flexible for any instrument.
Can I use A4 and US Letter?
Yes. A4 is standard in most of the world and US Letter in the United States and Canada. Pick whichever your printer uses before you download, and select the matching size in your print dialog so nothing is cut off or rescaled.
Does this work offline, and is anything uploaded?
